Malaga is an enjoyable city and so is as well the nightlife, especially during the summer months.

The fun carried on into the small hours of the morning.
The municipality offers different ways of enjoying the night. There are more lively areas with lots of animation and music and as well more tranquil environments where to enjoy conversations, a drink and some good music.
From Thursday night until Saturday you can dive into the authentic nightlife in the district around the historic quarter. People of all ages are out in the streets and the bars, of which some are offering life music. The animation extends from Plaza de la Merced to the Plaza de la Constitución, calle Granada, Alcazabilla, Plaza de Uncibay, Convalecientes, Comedias, Luis de Velázquez, Santa Lucía and many others full of good establishments where to spend a fun night.
If you rather prefer a more tranquil ambience, we recommend the areas of Pedregalejo, Limonar, Paseo de Sancha and Malagueta, where prevail
establishments where you can listen to good music and enjoy conversations with friends.
In the outskirts of Malaga city you can visit the leisure time centres of Plaza Mayor o Malaga Nostrum with cinemas, discotheques, bowling and bars and where the environment is as well very lively.
But the continuous movement of people and animated nightlife does not stop during the winter months. The locals of Malaga enjoy going out and so the tradition of dining out on the basis of tapas (those small dishes with all the variety and richness of a traditional and healthy mediterranean cuisine) accompanied by a good wine is as old as flamenco. Therefore there are many crowded bars where not even children go to bed early.
