The Costa del Sol and the province of Malaga have a lot to offer for night time entertainment from discos to flamenco shows, and the many bars and taverns.

The coast also has theme parks such as Tivoli World - which is the oldest in the area - in Benalmadena and not forgetting the two casinos in Torrequebrada and Marbella.

During the summers months some of the monuments and museums in Malaga City extend their opening hours so people can visit them at night.

So, in general the city of Malaga and its province has a lot of different ways to enjoy nightlife. Entertainment in the area varies from lots of music and discos for dancing in places like Fuengirola and Benalmadena to a tranquil environment to enjoy a meal with friends or family.

People of all ages can enjoy the nightlife in Malaga as from Thursday through to Saturday in the historic quarter of the city.

The night entertainment extends from Plaza de la Merced to the Plaza de la Constitución also including calle Granada, Alcazabilla, Plaza de Uncibay, Convalecientes, Comedias, Luis de Velazquez, Santa Lucia to name a few of the streets which are full of good establishments to enjoy a fun night out.

If you are looking for a calmer atmosphere and away from most of the discos we recommend the areas of Pedregalejo, Limonar, Paseo de Sancha and Malagueta, here are where you can enjoy some music with you family and friends.

On the outskirts of Malaga city you can visit the commercial centres of Plaza Mayor or Malaga Nostrum with cinemas, discotheques, bowling and bars that offer a wide variety of cuisine and environments.
