The municipality offers different ways of enjoying the night. There are plenty of lively areas with lots of animation and music, as well as numerous tranquil environments to enjoy a pleasant conversation, a drink and some good music.

From Thursday night until Saturday you can dive into the authentic nightlife all around the historic quarter. People of all ages are out in the streets and bars, in which some offer live music. The animation extends from Plaza de la Merced to the Plaza de la Constitución, including calle Granada, Alcazabilla, Plaza de Uncibay, Convalecientes, Comedias, Luis de Velázquez, Santa Lucía and many others, always full of good establishments where to spend a fun night.

If you prefer a more tranquil ambience, we recommend the areas of Pedregalejo, Limonar, Paseo de Sancha and Malagueta, where you will find establishments to listen to some good music and enjoy conversations with friends.

On the outskirts of Malaga city you can visit the leisure centres of Plaza Mayor or Malaga Nostrum with cinemas, discotheques, bowling and bars where the environment is also very lively.

But the animated nightlife does not stop during the winter months. The locals of Malaga enjoy going out and enjoying the tradition of 'Tapear' (dining out for Tapas, those small dishes with the wide variety and richness of a traditional and healthy mediterranean cuisine) accompanied by a good wine or a cold beer.
